WORK EXPERIENCE
June 2018-Present -- Professional Sam LLC -- Self-employed, painting portraits and other commissions.
2016-2018 -- Interior Concepts -- Tile Setter -- Helped to train in tile apprentices while tiling bathrooms, kitchens, a pool, and large industrial warehouses.
2014-2016 -- Upper Crust Finishes -- Mason's Apprentice -- Remodeled residential and commercial spaces with focus on tile and stone applications, as well as mosaics and hardwood floors. Additional jobs included shower and bathtub renovations, kitchen counters and backsplashes, and some plumbing and electrical work.
2014-2015 -- Soap Factory Gallery -- Demolished existing studio spaces and renovated a new office space, while maintaining and remodeling the art gallery.
2014 -- Machine Scenic -- Built, installed, and assisted in design for restaurant furniture, crafted furniture for private bar, set design for commercial filming
2014 -- All Service Screening -- Screen printed clothing and other merchandise
2013 -- Urban Boatbuilders -- Assisted with canoe construction in a program giving opportunities and boat building knowledge to urban youth
2009-2011 -- Arms and Armor -- Blacksmith Apprentice -- Constructed swords, daggers, polearms, and spears, developed skills in welding, forging, leather work, fine woodworking, and wax fabrication
2009 -- Curt Hoard Pottery -- Potter's Apprentice -- Created clay forms for master potter to manipulate, prepared clay, stains, and glazes, fired kilns, traveled with and assisted in pottery demonstrations throughout Minnesota
